Since I got my first tattoo last year (<3 VW), I have been looking and admiring more body art and the diversity of what people are willing to do to their bodies. Some would say its a tribute while others would say its mutilation.

Before I get into the worst (I don't want you to think I'm dissing game tats), I did come across a few that I thought were outstanding. This Sam and Max Skeletal tat was one of my favorites and is quite original.

This is one of my favorites, When I saw this tribute to Monkey Island, I was amazed at the colors and complexity. I hope it looks that good in 20 years!

Nintendo really brings back some good memories for some and why not remind yourself every day how drunk you were that night to get the dual wielding guns tattooed to your belt-line [left].

Dont get me wrong, I loved Duck Hunt but I don't know if I'd want to be laughed at for missing that damn duck every time I went doggy style on my future white trash lover with this tramp stamp [right].

Punch Out was another of my favorite games that I wasted my youth on but one has to ask if Champ aka Mike Tyson was really all that [left]! Who are you fooling dude? I bet that Don Flemenco from Spain could knock you out!

After Nintendo console came Game Boy and who didn't love that? Well, this gal was no exception and even had to tattoo cheat codes so she could remember (please comment if you know what it unlocked). Hopefully is the cheat code to her G-spot.[right]

Before we get out of the nostalgic tattoos, I had to LOL when I saw this wonderful rendition of the POWER GLOVE [right]. The artist did a great job but DUDE, we know what your really using it for!

[left] In the "That had to hurt!" catagory, this 8-bit freak got "GAME OVER" tattooetd on his neck.

Silent Hill was a great game also and the next two game related tattos are quite opposite.This next person [left] and artist really

found a way turn the the demonic dogs from Silent Hill around to make them more friendly and well [watch this] talk-able I guess. We should get him/her on TS3 and ask why.

I dont know if this emo [right] really got the jist of the game but he got the logo. All I can say is "I'm glad its not me!"

If you have ever tried playing the Game of Life and found it was difficult to not cut your wrists then your not alone. I hated failing and just stopped playing the game but this chica wanted to be reminded everyday how she sucked for dropping out of college.

On a more technical tip, you might run across someone pumping your

gas or packing your shopping bag and you might notice these seemingly generic chains across their wrists. To the untrained eye, you might think he's being enslaved or doesn't know to cut down the street but in reality, he is hooked on plasmids (from Bio Shock).

that was a common cheat code but I remember specifically that it was the code to unlock all the levels on the ninja turtles game for the nes. I know it's not the gameboy, but like I said, it was a fairly common nintendo cheat code.

I have full sleeves on both arms and I'm fully addicted to getting more ink, but when you start looking at tattoos on the internet there is seriously some stuff you can never unsee.

I should have known that, thanks Rapidfire. I've also seen it in other games as easter eggs, I think it was on Doom3 lockers or something.

Haha nice code is of course the contra (Konami) code, some people put tattoos in weird places, why would you want game over on your neck?
